The New York Knicks plan on waiving Lance Thomas before June 30th, according to Ian Begley of SNY.
June 30th is the deadline for the Knicks to decide whether to guarantee $1 million of Thomas' $7.6 million salary for next season.
Begley adds that the Knicks want to bring Thomas back due to his leadership and professionalism.
