I'm almost positive he could get a 15 mil a year contract next season especially with all those bad money deals from 2016 finally coming off of teams books....I get he's hedging against the injury especially after seeing what happened to guys in the finlals...but 10 million is a lot to give up still

Derrick White put up basically typical mike conley numbers on a per 36...led ALL point guards DRPM...and the spurs were on a 50 - 55 win pace when he played...

You don't give all of that up for Josh fukking Jackson...especially with the contract between the two since White was drafted at 29 and his rookie deal doesn't ever pay him even 4 million a year...
