EDIT: Updated to add Side B

TRAILER:

I52w2YV.jpg

I own this album on CD and vinyl, but the first time I copped it was on cassette. I decided to simulate that experience by droppin my 25th Anniversary tribute mix in 2 parts. Here is Side A. Side B to follow soon....
As always, I've combined album cuts with remixes, OG samples, and my own custom blends.

Still remember the first day I copped this album, popped it in the CD Walkman and walked to the basketball court. :wow:

you got me thinkin about the fact that it's been a long time since I had that kind of 'wow' moment with music. The current stuff is cool, and there's lots of stuff I like, but nothing that connects the way these classics did....to the point where we can remember the day that we first heard them

I sometimes wonder if it's just being young and being exposed to something mind blowing. Like if an album on the level of Illmatic dropped today maybe it wouldn't impact me like a kid in high school.

Yeah I'm sure that's a part of it as well
