I think we can infer from Masai's delayed reaction to the Toronto offer that he's giving the Kroenke's every opportunity to do right by him and give him the money he deserves. which they better, or it's #allahuakbar time. :birdman:

Masai is building something special in Denver while the Raptors are a giant mess. why would he want to leave? to build his brand? his brand is Africa, muthafukka. :crushed:

That's just a sample. Toronto got more dimes than John Stockton mane.

that's hilarious breh. abandon the 57 win team you basically built from scratch and go to Toronto and try to undo damn near a decade of Colangelo fukk ups... because TO has the better groupie selection. :russ:

I didn't know Masai and JR Smith had the same aspirations, priorities and goals in life. :deadmanny:

It's about upward mobility. He gone as far as he can go in Denver. There's nothing else to build there. He'll get more money and more power in Toronto. And as Charles Barkley states "Toronto is the best city on earth".

A source familiar with the situation said that rather than the deal being close it was "far from it" with Ujiri now carefully working through competing opportunities, with the Nuggets having made a determined offer to keep him Denver.

The Raptors remain optimistic they can bring back Ujiri - he was director of international scouting, an assistant general manager and eventually Bryan Colangelo's right-hand man with the Raptors before he was hired by the Nuggets in 2010.

It has been reported that Ujiri is the lowest-salaried GM in the NBA, earning about $500,000 a year, or half of the league's average. According to NBA sources the Raptors have offered Ujiri a four-year deal worth about $9 million.

like I said, the only way Masai leaves is if Stan Kroenke doesn't smarten the fukk up and pay him what he deserves.

you don't need Woj's sources to realize he's dragging this process out for a reason. his heart is in Denver.
