Their courageous decision to remove the headphone jack makes sense now: a truly wireless iPhone 8.

I said when they did it that it was a great strategic move. Whether consumers agree with dropping the jack or not, it was smart to drop it when they did. The 7 was pretty much an incremental update that many were going to pass on anyway. Rather than dropping the headphone jack with the next version of the iPhone that overhauls the chassis and internals, they did it with the 7 so everyone could get the "OMG no headphone jack" out of their systems by the time the new model drops.

It's cool that they seem to be on board with starting to innovate again. Usually an Android phone comes out with a piece of hardwar or software and Apple "reimagines" the concept and refines. It actually seems like they're making strides to possibly be first to the market with something that's truly dope.

I'm talking about making the parts affordable :usure: they do a good job of making new tech that would seem wildly overpriced at the time cheap, which in turns help the rest of the industry
