One of these things is not like the other but this is what happens when we have been inundated with trash for so long even decent albums get elevated.
Nah, this is what happens when you let media dictate what "classics" you choose to hold up

It's crazy that cats be saying

COMMERCIAL COMMERCIAL

when low key

A lot of the album was bout dope, choppas and street shyt

And he turned that shyt INTO a commercially viable album

It's his least watered down project content wise

But hey let the Coli tell it
nikka was literally talking about shooting/ killing innocent ppl on the lead single :heh:

Picked up where Mase left off. There was Bone, MC Breed, Twista, Doe Or Die, Crucial etc but he was like first full fledged solo superstar from the Midwest. Hit after hit...it was a big one for hip hop. Wasn't necessarily classic material top to bottom but it certainly had an impact in terms of influence

No, and it's kind of disturbing how many people voted yes. Just because you grew up on it doesn't make it a classic, shyt it's maybe his 3rd or 4th best album. You would have a better argument for Nellyville or Sweat/Suit
Are you trolling :russ:
Illmatic
Ready to Die
Wu Tang Forever
the Infamous
The Chronic

Country Grammer got just as much love as those albums

Yes

So is Nellyville
