Iran and Hezbollah are tooled up. First of all Saudi Arabia and Israel cannot wage an effective war against Iran as this year. Why? Because Iran has the S-300. And the one Russia gave to Iran is an advanced version. S-300 PMU-2. Both the Gulf states and Israel advanced air forces cannot defeat the S300 in the event of war. The US can defeat the S300 only however to beat the system they will need to focus a lot of resources in taking it out. What that means is that they focus on taking it out while ignoring other targets like Iran's deep underground bases which houses their ballistic missiles and anti-ship missiles. In other words, Israel and Saudi Arabia are incapable of bombing Iran because now Iran's airspace is heavily fortified.
Hezbollah also can give Israel problems. During the summer war in 06 Hezbollah had a force of 1,000 regular forces with 5,000 reserves. Now its 20,000 regular fighters with 70,000 in reserves. They have been battle hardened in the Syrian civil war. They have had now a 5000 man special forces unit called the Katibat Radwan which also has been battle hardened by the Syrian war. Hezbollah has 100,000 rockets pointed at Israel. Back in 2006 they had only 13,000 rockets. Israel was bombing Lebanon heavily but Hezbollah stilled fired rockets at Israel. On top of that they have advanced Iranian/Russia ballistic missiles. They have Iranian Fajr 3 and 5 rocket launchers, 220 and 302 mm Syrian-made rockets, Zelzal, Fateh-110 missiles and more importantly Scud C and D missiles. They now have missiles that can reach far in Israel. And they have advanced anti-tank missiles from Iran and Syria like Kornet 9M133 and RPG 29. And to make worse they have dozens of the Yakhont anti-ship missiles which is one of the most advanced anti-ship missiles in the world. It is so fast that not even American Aegis systems can detect it. If a ship detects it they have 6 seconds to respond which no modern ship has. This would limit Israel's naval operations in the Meditterterean in the event of war. When it comes to aerial defense they upgraded as well. Hezbollah as the Igla and Igla-S systems( SA-18 and SA-24). Russia has supplied Syria with the BUK-2(SA-17) and Pantsyr(SA-22). In Syria, Hezbollah has been access to these weapons and been trained to operate them. The Russian on the ground fukk with Hezbollah deeply and gave them access to them weapons. So in all Hezbollah has gotten a whole lot stronger and has increased their asymmetrical capabilities. If Israel goes to war with Hezbollah it will be another bloody fiasco and a quagmire.
With all of this Iran is strapped up and much more stronger. Their proxies are stronger from being battled hardened in Syria and Iraq. Both Saudi Arabia and Israel talk tough about Iran but want the US to fight their war for them. And as I said before Iran can defeat the US in the Persian Gulf because of the geography that favors them, their asymmetrical strategy and the weapons systems they invested in. Iran knows they cannot beat the US in a conventional war what they, however, have done is invest in weapons that expose American weakness. Primacy does not mean invincibility like I always say. A war with Iran led by Trump would be a disaster of epic proportions. Which is likely gonna happen especially if the scandals get worse. Read up on Millenium Challenge. This wargame shows how the US Navy can be defeated and was the most expensive war games to be conducted by the Pentagon. To this day the military have not taken any measures to address it. They simply ignored it. Which shows arrogance.
