I tell folks all the time. It gets hated on becuz it's not Christopher Reeves.
You check Rotten Tomatos and you'll see that Superman Returns has a higher rating than Man Of Steel.
The man reason being that it was a love story to the Richard Donner/Christopher Reeves Superman movies.

Bane hijacked someone... AT MID-FLIGHT, held the entire city of Gotham for 6 months while imprisoning 95% of their entire police force, forced the President and the entire military force to fall back, outsmarted the CIA, fucckin escorting those wealthy 1% people to the trip to the frozen lake, EXPOSED Gordon, annnnd broke the BAT both literally and financially.

No comic book villain is seeing Bane since Rises came out. If we're including television doe, the best villain in general since Rises is easily Ramsay Bolton. Joffrey Lannister is #2. I've yet to watch any episodes after the season premiere of Season 7, but off that one episode, Negan is number #3. The only Marvel villains worth mentioning are from the Netflix shows.
Bane was good until he wasn't. Dafoe's Green Goblin was great, but that was before Bane. I'm calling it now, though Vulture will be every bit as good as Bane. Call it a hunch.
Spidey has good villains.
MCU needs Dr fukkin Doom.
