It’s nice to finally see D’antoni get a LEGIT superstar who fits his system

Mike D’antoni has never had a TRUE superstar who fit his system

Kobe is a goat, but he didn’t fit his system
Melo was superstar, but he didn’t fit the system

Harden though :wow:

Mike D’Antonio has revolutionized the NBA and people STILL refuse to give him his credit

I’ve never seen anything like it.

Amare before the microfracture surgery was a generational talent with transcendent athleticism. He was still an amazing all star and maybe even superstar if you want to be generous after the surgery but pre-surgery Amare could have been top 5 or top 10 PF at least in terms of stats. Nash was a top 3 PG for a good 4-5+ years.

His system doesn't work in the playoffs against nba level teams.

They showed a graphic where houston is dead last in midrange and i think points in the paint (or another stat). In the playoffs 1 dimensional teams get shut down
