This is more about Thibbs not using his bench players like Shamet. He was decent in Brooklyn and Phoenix.It's amazing how Shamet has resurrected his career.
I remember years ago, he was a notable player around the league; one of the best 3-point shooters/role players a team could have, but then he went through some down years on a couple of teams, became irrelevant and almost out of the league. He came to New York last year, and a combination of this season, now he's back to being a “somebody”, y'know, a key rotation player in the league.
Props to him for turning his career around.
