Which takes up to five-star cornerback
Patrick Surtain Jr. Hearing his mom has had plenty of dialogue late with all the finalists. An LSU source still feels good the top-ranked cornerback in the country heads to Baton Rouge but Miami and Alabama could be creating pause here.
From Wiltfong
His mom is all LSU so if she has influence than that's good
Edit: lemme show y'all the whole articles
I think Alabama linebacker commit
Quay Walker is going to flip to Georgia on National Signing Day. That’s a recruitment that certainly remains fluid with Tennessee very much in it as well but the buzz on Tuesday morning was screaming Dawgs.
Speaking of Georgia, heard some serious smoke regarding Top247 receiver
Tommy Bush. My Crystal Ball has long been on Baylor for the Lone Star State four-star but I was told there was a point in the process where Bush should have been considered a heavy Bulldogs lean. The Bears remain consistent with Bush and he’ll have an national letter-of-intent from them and Texas continues to work that one late as well.

Back to Alabama, I talked to a source that said on Sunday evening there was smoke the Crimson Tide may be the front-runner for five-star cornerback
Tyson Campbell. My pick remains on the Bulldogs but don’t sleep on
Nick Saban and company late for the Fort Lauderdale blue-chipper.
I never flipped my 247Sports Crystal Ball from Alabama for Top247 receiver
Jaylen Waddle and still feel good about the Crimson Tide there. I’m close to flipping from Clemson to Alabama for in-state coveted receiver
Justyn Ross. All the intel says he’ll head to Tuscaloosa but the Tigers are a program that does such a good job recruiting it’s tough to completely rule them out.
Four-star cornerback
Eddie Smith remains the best bet, and if the Crimson Tide push for
Jaylen Moody he’s headed there too. I think linebacker
JJ Peterson remain a target as well.

As of the time of this article, I don’t believe top-ranked offensive tackle
Nicholas Petit-Frere has made a college decision. For several days I’ve heard Ohio State and Notre Dame are in the best position, but you can’t sleep on Florida and the proximity to home. I was also told that the Petit-Frere camp has been reaching out to schools the last couple days with questions and that includes Alabama. A decision is expected today.

I think Miami defensive tackle commit
Nesta Silvera is thinking about flipping to Florida after talking to a source. A well-placed source couldn’t say definitely what Silvera was going to do. I’m not predicting this flip but it’s certainly something that could realistically happen. Miami has protected themselves in landing in-state sleeper Jordan Miller late, a 330-pound point of attack player that has a high ceiling but obviously Silvera remains the jewel.

I believe Texas A&M has a chance to flip
Bobby Brown from Alabama. No final decision made there as of this morning but there is reason to believe in College Station following his weekend visit it could happen. Not a prediction but I believe there is optimism around TAMU circles.

Put in a 247Sports Crystal Ball Forecast for Ohio State during the drive for Top247 defensive end
Javontae Jean-Baptiste. This one has gotten wild down the stretch. A heavy Virginia Tech lean in December, Ohio State grabbed momentum and then Nebraska and then back to the Buckeyes. If you’re keeping up, Texas A&M made a huge impression on Jean-Baptiste and his mom in the last week and over the weekend may have led for a minute. The vibe seems to be back to OSU, not ruling out A&M and Virginia Tech is hanging around. This is as exciting a recruitment as there is down the stretch.

For Top247 linebacker
Otis Reese, last week I wrote that Michigan sources were confident he’d stick. A day before the decision, I don’t think you can rule out the Bulldogs and I don’t think the Wolverines are either. Communication remains great with the staff in Ann Arbor, a place he’s been committed to since the summer of 2016 but Georgia and the in-state pull is real for the family as it’s getting close to putting pen to paper.

I like Iowa State’s chances with Gilbert (Ariz.) Perry. No program recruited the Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year longer or better from the schools he was considering down the stretch. Quarterback is a huge need for
Matt Campbell and company and this is a strong late get.

Regarding Top247 offensive tackle
Rasheed Walker, I don’t think a decision has been made there as well. Penn State and Ohio State still under strong consideration.
