Thought I had to bring this album up, having this one on repeat for the last couple of days. Every time I listen this album, I hear something new here and there, its an amazing ride everytime

The way how this guy used all these samples, and made 31 short songs, is so amazing to me. Even more when you realise he made this all from his hospital bed, and died 3 days after the release. He literally put his heart and soul into this project :mjcry:

Thoughts on this great (imo) instrumental album?

I could never get into this album.

:lupe:

Something about Dilla's style is completely foreign to me.

Whats crazy is that i'm the complete opposite with Madlib (the goat). Even when Madlib does Dilla style beats. I fukk with it more than the original.

I haven't listened to that album in its entirety but I will put that on my list to do so Salute OP.

Slightly off tho, I'm a Nujabes stan. These nikkas born same day same year and both beat legends which is wild

Nujabes / Dilla who you got?
