The saga continues :pachaha:

I think you've seen enough proof that Billy Ocean can't keep my name out his mouth. That's where all this stems from. He is my #2 or #1 stan, depending on how often my retarded son 10bands comes on The Coli.

We aint Cain and Abel. That implies we were once brothers and on the same level. Hocean has never been on my level and something about me triggers his insecurity.

BP2 is where Jay's catalog starts to get a little spotty for me.

He'd become fully immersed in the mainstream at that point.

BP1 still had some grit to it.

Still a dope song though. :salute:

BP2 is not Jay's best album...but it's better than a lot of folk give it credit for.

BP2 era-Jay is the best Jay to me.

Jay-Z has not made a hot album since Black Album. And arguably a bonafide 'dope' song since then, either. Ignorant shyt doesn't count because that was supposed to be on the Black Album and got leaked in 2004 anyway.

Jay-Z has not dropped a single banger since he retired. Banger in the sense of "dope ass beat" and Jay spitting that hot shyt.

Since Black Album, his beat selection has been spotty as fukk with the occasional nice beat ("Tom Ford", "On To The Next One" & "Primetime"), but then Jay-Z sounds tolerable or kinda wack on it.

The only reason i'll disagree is: American Gangster was straight dopeness.

We gotta drop this "best" talk.

Hov at his worst is better than 95% of any rap music i've EVER heard.

Hov has always been good with situational rap. Like you can literally see this as a scene.
Thing is, few have actually been able the master the art of saying shyt this vividly and comically.

I mean the video for this would have been straight jokes :heh:
