Is the QB situation his fault?

He's the reason Fitzpatrick had a long leash in the first place. When Fitz kept fukking up and Bowles kept giving everyone the "he still gives us the best chance to win" excuse, everyone minus Brandon Marshall stopped taking him seriously, which led to a lot of players just not giving a fukk.

Is the decision to tank his fault?
He's not in on it. He's gonna try to win, which is REALLY gonna piss everyone off. I get he wants to win. I get that even last year, he was gonna try even though everything pointed towards a doomed season. He coulda yanked Fitz (as well as a lot of players who sucked or who were mailing it in) and been given a mulligan as coach. Realistically that team was gonna fail no matter what but Bowles did so much wrong he made it so the blame would be sent his way when it didn't have to be that way.

If Fitz hadn't shyt the bed at the end of 15', they'd have made the playoffs. Then that clown Fitz held out until August, and the team stunk last year.
Like I said, Bowles threw himself in front of the bus. That game vs. Buffalo, the team was flat. He didn't have them ready. Everything Jets fans were begging for (re: tank) we wanted a year ago, and with the Jets' schedule he had every excuse to do so and he fukked it up. He coulda saved himself a lot of trouble by being tougher on the players and giving the younger guys more of a chance. This year he's doing that because they got rid of almost every veteran worth a damn. His best route of survival was to basically make it seem like his GM gave him nothing to work with and he didn't do that.

and I didn't even get into the actual coaching which was embarrassing at times.

Bowles is a nice guy who means well and a lot of people wanted him here, but he's not gonna survive this season barring major player development.

I thought Bowles would ahve been on that respect authority tip. I'm surprised.
I hate that they are probably going to kick him out the coaching circle.

He seems to be a pretty bad coach.

Completely lost the Jets locker room after 3 games last year. That team was a mess in general though.

If he can get 6 or more wins out this team he deserves to stay on, but it seems like that team is DOA and he`ll be part of the house cleaning.

I`m sure he`ll be able to go back to the DC jobs

Same thing he said last August. Easy and factually correct. Why can't other coaches say that? It's not hard.

The reality here is, there should be more of this type of response.

Don't go into over explaining, just keep it simple.

Unless you are the protestor, then speak your peace and get the word out. But when they're asking every single football player about this shyt, no comment would do just fine, or i respect their right to express themselves.

Because it's getting to be non-stop every article is about someones take on the anthem, it's a year old story.

That's my former defensive coordinator:obama:

Hope he'll come back and take over for Bruce Arians when he decides to hang em up
Uhhh, no....he's like Ray Rhodes...great defensive coordinator but awful head coach.

The NFL Is moving to offensive minded coaches.

He's a defensive specialist.

Not a great qb evaluator. Look whose playing for him.

Come back as a DC.

I'm not judging the brother by his time with the Jets.

They never gave the man a chance!

Besides, you can just hire a good offensive coordinator to run that side of the ball.

It's Steve Keim's job to find a QB.The Cardinals front office talent>>>>Jets

I think it could work. The players had major respect for him when he was here.

Gave us our best D since those mid 90's "Desert Swarm" teams with Buddy Ryan.

I'd settle for him just being our DC, tho.Take him back in any capacity.

I'd just like to see what he could do with a competent front office behind him.
