I just checked this out and I'm fukking with it. Even though all the songs sound the same, even though I can't listen to it after 9pm, because I'll go to sleep, and even though I know Jhene sounds like a wounded animal on stage.

She's a talented writer, imo, but she's a studio singer, who's carried by production. I'm not tripping on her for it though. I think when you accept her limitations, you're able to appreciate the music. As far as sigh-singers go, she's the cream of the crop.
