No job has guaranteed customers. Not even the ones you mentioned. Always competition and people need to know your business.

You can have 100 pounds of weed in your house right now but if no one knows you sell weed, its just going to sit there..
Not just that but economics as well. You can sell a pound for like $1000 and the guy down the street can sell his for $900 and attract more customers. And of course customer service goes a long way too. Some people might be willing to spend a few dollars more to have better service and convenience.

Seriously, all these law of attraction people are making serious money. You read the books, and they talk abouy getting rich off their first book. I'm like, can we get a book by someone who made money by doing something other than telling people to think positively about making money? Folks are really paying $2000 PLUS to go to these seminars, and that's not including the hotel, flight, and food. Life coaches are charging thousands, and people really pay.

The daily affirmation sites make money from traffic. Churches have people tithing their income. The need for positive reinforcement is profitable.
