He's actually proven to be a pretty good fit in the defense.

As much as I didn't like the signing due to the money we gave em and I felt we had more pressing needs, he has played pretty well so far.

What's your take on Ward's game today? It's hard to call it, while he got the ball caught on him often, he played well after the catch on maintaining the catch to very little RAC.

I`m just hoping we can stem the tide until Bow/Aldon come back, because if we can get to 5-3 after 8 games, i think we still have a hell of a shot.

didnt like ward, but eagles seemed to stop attacking him after foles fukked up a few times.

a qb like peyton will make him his bytch like he does marcus cooper on the regular. brock cant get here fast enough imo. cox seems good outside now as well as in nickel, I hope once brock comes back cox just takes ward's spot. because right now good qbs will go AT him relentlessly, imo

Yeah, I been hating Ward so far, but today seemed like his best game but it was hard to even say cause like you said, he didn't seem to get much work.

It was one of them bullshyt letters of the law call and a reason of what's wrong with the league.

If your hand grazes a qb helmet it's 15 yards, they forceably pulled Crabs helmet off his head and it counted as a tackle. shyt is ridiculous.

And that play cost us too cause we had to settle for a FG that drive.

brock and aldon should give a huge boost to pass D, and bowman even at 50% health will make a lot more blitzes possible

offense is a lot more of a concern right now, to me. this game should've been a blowout with the way D was playing.

If we insist on airing it with these long developing plays then this season is over. If today wasn't enough to show Harbaugh and Roman that we are made to run and we can't work trying to be an Arena Football team then I give up on this year. If they are that stubborn fukk 'em.

agreed. there are side effects of us not developing the pass game such as slow progression of kaep as a passer, but thats a side effect of trying to win games now
team just isnt built to pass a ton. basically right now if we commit to winning we need to go back to basics such as run the ball, play action. if we want to be airin it out like mad we have to be ok with the fact we're going for a huge rebuild

I`m usually not the one on that fire Roman shyt.

But today if we caught the L, I was gonna start to explore that route, because the offense spreading everything out with no pass protection is just a dumb fukking strategy.

And I like our weapons, but right now our pass protecting is garbage and we need to be hitting plays of PA not 5 wides.

kaep and roman should be on blast today, both. kaep is too inaccurate on throws. we cant move the ball if you can hit dudes 5 yards away in stride, man. a lot of 3 and outs are because instead of getting that short throw for 3-5 yards we get zero yards. its frustrating as hell and he refuses to take off some speed off those throws as well.

it was a clusterfukk of a game by kaep altogether imo, he was lucky that chuck to gore worked and that throw to stevie required a ton of effort. the pick six was bad vision and cost us a ton, and that delay of game and stupid TO called had me heated all day. not to mention horrible ball behind hyde, not throwing the ball away and going out of bounds for a loss, etc, etc

roman's refusal to run the ball when its working, is getting to legendary levels. this isnt pertaining to kaep, as I watched the same shyt in NFCG in 2011 with alex. its just idiotic. going empty backfield and splitting out miller wide leaving kaep with no protection aint finna work. kaep takes a lot of time to get rid of the ball. protect him. play to his strengths. do some fukking screens to boldin or stevie. we had zero screens called today and zero read options called iirc. Im not a big fan of read options but you gotta call it at least once
