ESPN's Ed Werder reports 49ers OLB Aldon Smith's nine-game suspension will not be reduced. Smith will serve the final game of his ban this week against the Saints, before being eligible to return to the lineup Week 11 against the Giants. Dan Skuta and Aaron Lynch have been filling in nicely for Smith opposite Ahmad Brooks.

The fact we did nothing to stop the pass rush via draws, screen or quick pass plays or just the run game really pissed me off vs. STL.

i don't know who is coming up with this "save up kaep" gameplan this year. i kept saying we needed WR.. it wasn't because I wanted this.. it was because I saw it going towards this

frank gore didn't even get a chance at the goaline.. not one chance.. let alone the rest of the game.. let alone the rest of the season

how can they forget what got them to the nfc championship 3 years in a row.. great D and great running behind frank gore.. when needed we throw or kaep will take off

it's like they gave him the money, now every week they got him trying to be peyton manning.. we were good when he was lowest in passing yards and first in running and frank was running the clock and moving the chains

low key the 2013 draft is shaping up kinda meh too with lattimore news and tank being a special ed ass dude.

reid has been super quiet lately. vance is mia now after dropping passes. tank and lattimore I already mentioned. patton is not that good, at least not as good as the guys starting over him, and lemonier has been a fail

In 2012 we couldn't beat STL at home either.

Division games are tricky, I don't see why we can't beat NO, they're not as good as they've been in the past.

The reason why we can beat them, team still has a ton of talent and great coaching. Backs are against the wall, and it's now or never.

I agree with the bolded. We always have a bunch of picks in the draft but we rarely make a power move for a player.

Dial was active last week and dobbs wasn't, his release doesn't effect tank one way or another

Latty needs to get some carries. Hyde doesn't impress me that much.

I agree with the bolded. We always have a bunch of picks in the draft but we rarely make a power move for a player.

Reid is the only guy we made that move for, now we traded draft picks for current players like Johnson and Gabbert, but when it comes to drafted player since 2011, where is all the great talent?
