spillman/McDermott/osgood are gone

something about him being a vet and being on the roster after training camp where his contract is guaranteed.

the spillman cut saves about 1.2 million on the salary cap. plus spillman was invisible the whole preseason while mccray was flying downfield making plays. especially in the texans game
osgood might be back. we cut him last year and brought him back after the first game. i could see the same thing happening this year

mcdermott being cut is the biggest surprise so far. I guess they like nelson's versatility to be a TE ?
spillman was good on ST but barely ok as a backup safety. money prolly played the biggest role in that cut

yep looks like we're going with only 7 healthy OL for the year, this means we're still keeping door open for boone if his ass wants to get off the high stool an play ball...imo
