True for now...but in the next two years where Simmons and Murray start to get starters minutes next to Kawhi...two guys who have aggressive offensive games...dudes efficiency numbers are going to go through the roof due to defenses actually having to guard other players...instead of now where they still don't care about Danny Green and his unbelievable two made 3's a game...

Would be great to have Booker...but the Spurs are gonna have mini giannis running point for them in two years so they going to end up being unstoppable anyway...

Doesn't put up flashy triple double numbers...but by any measurement or advanced stat you want to use parker and gasol are bottom 15 in guarding the pick and roll IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE...and Kawhi STILL has the spurs as a top 5 defense...

His sonning of Paul George in the "i was sick game" is legendary and legit killed off an entire segment of the coli because there was a while you couldn't go 3 days without a "paul george is better than kawhi leonard" thread on the first page...


The fact that he does all of this while playing with a 2 guard who can't pass...can't dribble...can't average 1 freethrow a game...and goes through stretches where he can't shoot is

Imagine if he had just an average two guard with him who actually had some semblance of an offensive game...imagine if he had somebody like Middleton or even J.R Smith

They will beat the rockets cause Pop owns Mike D Antoni soul ...outside of 2010 when Dragic destroyed the Spurs D Antoni hasn't done anything in the playoffs BUT lose to Pop...

Green is trash but the Spurs aren't trading him because of loyalty reasons. Just like Tony has been washed for years and they have made no move to do anything with him. Just like they gave Manu 14 million and right on queue halfway through the season he is starting to cost the spurs games due to late game turnovers. Just like instead of getting the best deal for Diaw when they traded him...and a lot of teams where interested in him...they let Diaw tell them what teams he wanted to go to...which was Utah...and they go what...some useless late second round pick for him I think...

I absolutely think they can beat the Warriors...because the Warriors don't have anyone who can even make Lamarcus or Kawhi break a sweat on the offensive end...and Simmons showed in that first game that he has no problem going at their guards on offense or flying in to pin their shots against the backboard on defense...it's the clippers i worry about because they have the quintessential team the spurs struggle with...great defensive big...great scoring big...great all around point guard...great shooter...

I don't really think RC and Pop care very much about getting a ring this year...cause if they did they wouldn't do stuff like start a 20 year old point guard when Parker doesn't play where you should obviously start patty mills...

But in two years this team is going to be MONSTROUTS...Between a future starting lineup of Dedmon Simmons Kawhi and Murray it won't even matter who the 5th guy is...and the 5th guy is either going to be LMA or Bertans...so...
