SAN ANTONIO SPURS NY DIVISION
Yea, it looks like, barring injury and a complete meltdown, we are in a good spot to get the #2 seed in the west. If we're able to clinch that with a week or two remaining, Pop has to rest him frequently down the stretch in the regular season.

This year he does seem to be more ready as the roles on this team are more defined. No more trying to get LMA into the system, no more trying to keep the Big 3 involved offensively, none of that. It's him as the clear #1 option and everybody gets in where they fits in

The rest thing is tricky for a young player..

Its a fine line between building endurance and just wearing a player out...

Let us remember that time "superstar Kawhi" let his heavily favored Spurs blow a 2-1 series lead to OKC last year

Let us remember when he went ice cold in the fourth quarter of a crucial Game 4 that would've given San Antonio a stranglehold on that series

The Spurs werent heavily fav last year as many were picking OKC to "upset"/beat us.

Back to Kawhi, he hasto produce and lead SA to the WCF this year imo, no excuses bc no matter how its sliced, he didn't RAISE his game against OKC
