Keep getting bumps when I shave

you honestly just want to walk around with a 5 'o clock shadow to avoid razor bumps, but if you want a clean shave get a T-Liner like people here recommend. That and use a buff puff every other day, it removes dirt and build up from your follicles that causes pseduofolicitis, then use a topical agent like bump patrol or tend skin.

as a lot of people said, i use andis t-liners. i also use tea oil after the shave. you can get some andis t-liners from walmart for like less than $40 usually. they got more expensive ones also at local hair stores or online.

i usually wash my face in the morning when i wake up and at night before bed. i don't shave everyday usually every other day or 2. but it gets a close enough shave not to get ingrown hairs. if i wanted to shave every day i could though, i just be lazy. making sure your face is clean before shaving is big time.

helps limit the ingrown hairs. also you gotta see which way your facial hair grows in and brush it that way before shaving. that stops ingrown hairs a lot.

I just get the standard ones—andis brand… shouldn’t have to replace them for a few years tho unless you’re very hairy and gotta shave everyday

If I need a really close shave, I just use my blade and then a good facial scrub everyday until the hair grows in enough. The exfoliation seems to help the hairs stick out instead of curling back in and causing the irriation.

I used this if i want a clean bare face without bumps.
But lately i've been rocking a beard. Sometimes i will use clippers to shave the beard off, that will also prevent me from getting bumps, but obviously you still got light stubble after that
