Nah they paid me to go school / training one day a week through the apprenticeship for 5 years so you end up with about the same technical training as a degree but it’s all paid for instead of me payin for it and wasting the time unpaid...

And I've experienced a youth and night life without social media and smartphones, and I've experienced a youth and night life WITH social media and smartphones. I feel like I got the best of both worlds being my age.

My dream school was an HBCU but I'll be honest it wasn't because of academics

I still throughly enjoyed my college experience and as trite as it sounds made lifelong friends. The black community was tight knit.
