Kidd Kidd recently joined Brian “B High” Hightower and his podcast co-host Turk for an interview on their radio show (watch below).
In their conversation, Kidd detailed how he came to be featured on the “Mrs. Officer” collaboration by Lil Wayne and Bobby V, which ended up being his first ever radio single.
The ex-Young Money and Sqad Up artist noted that initially, 2 Chainz was supposed to feature on the song instead of him. Additionally, he mentioned that he spent his very first publishing check on everyone except himself.
Also in the convo, Kidd reminisced about staff members from Universal Music Group entering their studio session and hearing a preview of “Mrs. Officer” playing in the background. He recalled them saying to Wayne: “What is this song? This is the one!”
