The thing is, he's playing different this year, attacking more so far and as long as he stays aggressive there's no reason he can't score 22-25ppg.
The aggression so far is the major difference, he's actually getting to the line.

Klay is looking like one of the most improved players in the league so far. He has always been a great shooter and off the ball player but his instincts and IQ are greatly improved. Previously, when the ball was kicked out to him and the defense collapsed on him, he had a one track mind and would hesitate and then throw up a 
shot anyway because he wouldn't know what else to do with it. Now he's reacting to it by pump faking, putting it on the floor, creating his own shot, or finding an open teammate.

dude is good. he might not be the "iso guy" that everyone expects from the 2 spot but he's been steadily improving on both ends since he came into the league and although we're only a few games deep this season, he got a big extension and he's giving everybody a reason to give him props. obviously his numbers are gonna tail off, he's not gonna average 30 a game but if he keeps playing like this, then yeah, he definitely in the conversation for that crown.

I'd honestly take Bradley beal over him, klay nice tho he was just a tad bit inconsistent last season to call him the best 3 games in this season.

To early to say he is the best but he is on his way to taking the mantle. And while SG is not stacked like it was in the days of Kobe Vince T-mac and Iverson it's in decent shape. With guys like Beal Harden Derozan Klay Monta Lance Affalo Oladipo it's in decent shape and several of these guys are or will be 20 plus per game scorers in their career.

Klays the best defender for the 2 guard spot and he's evolved his game so he does drive and get to the free throw line

Last year clay was just doing more of the same shooting and coming of screens this year he's getting to the hole.
