Looking at comments and shyt, I'm starting to think Urb will go with JT for the QB spot. Urb keeps talking about how much he loves leadership and how much he admires JT's leadership abilities. I think this will still play out during the training camp, but I think Urb feels JT has a leg up right now.

I said that a while back on the leadership it was hear say but my dad said that coach pointed out JT was a natural leader

Freshman Torrance Gibson, who signed with Ohio State as a quarterback in February, took reps with the wide receivers group Friday at the team's first practice in full pads.

Where Gibson will end up has long been the subject of speculation. He's stated a desire to come in and compete for a job at quarterback and Ohio State promised him that chance, but suspensions and unproven depth at the wide receiver spot could lead to quicker playing time for the electrifying four-star prospect out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

We'll have more as this develops.

Torrence apparently approached coaches about the switch because he wants to get on the field sooner and not redshirt, knows this move would make that happen. People kept saying WR is his best position. He also said he wants to move back to QB next year, but I kind of doubt that happens, especially if he excels as a true frosh at WR. Hell, he could get some early tick in the Virginia Tech game because of Corey Smith and Jalin being out.

Ill think hell get some clock dontre is out to that tech game but it's great for him to test the waters at wide out at least for 2 years because JT will be back next year and pending injury he's starting
