We also need to revisit the "Who won the Trade again"

Kyrie Irving, Channing Frye, and a 2018 protected first round pick

for

Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance.

shyt doesn't look so bad now :yeshrug:
Uhh No.

Kyrie, Channing Frye, Jae Crowder, late 1st for:

Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance and a lottery pick.

If Cavs get picks 1-3, they won the deal.

He ain't even going to be ready for the start of training camp. Training camp in 6 months. They not going to rush him back at all

Ainge gonna trade him. Watch.

What takers is he gonna have though? Kyrie is going into his final year of his contract with a bum knee. He about to be inactive for 4-5 months. We don't even know how long into next season it will be before he is back, and then back playing like Kyrie. You trade for him you could literally see him in a handful of games and then he leaves.

:francis: idk unless the nets pick is going to play at the level kyrie has, they only kept ante zizic from the original trade

Why does it matter who came from the original trade? You get assets to flip them. I said from the day of the trade that IT wasn't a good part of the deal unless they were looking to flip him for someone else.

I still would have flipped the pick too, but Hood, Clarkson, Nance, Zizic, and a top-10 pick might end up being better than a damaged Kyrie.

They could have done a lot better if they had flipped IT much earlier (as in that summer or any other time before 2017 ended) and flipped the Nets pick at a time when it looked closer to being in the top-5.
