I look at it as the Spurs have over-achieved in the regular season 3 straight years. Then come back to reality in the playoffs.

i just woke up from a nap and im still heated about this game, i am so disappointed about this team and their performance the past 2 or so months. I really think the spurs need to get rid of bonner, neal, and if they arent going to play blair then get rid of him as well. I like blair and would much rather have him on the court than bonner. Green and Leonard need to stop disappearing on the offensive end during the playoffs. Im tired of seeing just duncan, parker, and manu scoring. The spurs are getting beat on the offensive boards way too much and today they missed way too many free throws. The spurs dont even look hungry, but then again they have never had that killer instinct look on their faces. I know Pop is going to get in their asses, because winning today would have made this a 5 game series, like i predicted at the beginning. I know see this going 7 games with the spurs winning it.

Young teams like the warriors need pressure put on their throat for the full 48 minutes and instead during the first half the spurs let them stay in the game when the spurs should have been up by 20. I dont think i have ever been so frustrated with my team as i am right now

Same here...I'm disgusted. I've seen them lose to teams they were just outmatched against like OKC last year. Never before have I seen them look as mentally weak as I did today. They let the series go from being a lock win to a tossup in like 5 minutes. :snoop:

Slept on it and i'm still digusted. Only positive is that I feel if we get open looks tomorrow like we got yesterday, I just can NOT see us shooting 28% from deep at home w/THAT many uncontested threes.

Pop HAS to take some heat too. Just like last year against OKC, we thought he would coach circles around Brooks and this year we thought coming into this series he'd outcoach Jackson and he hasn't.

Just like last year we can't get Parker going and being consistent, Neal and Bonner getting more minutes over Blair, Ginobili being too inconsistent, and Duncan fading down the stretch as the playoffs wear on. Let's not even mention that yea Splitter may still be off w/the ankle injury but he's given us NOTHING this series.

We need a 3rd and 4th consistent scoring option. Ginobili being up and down hasn't helped and Leonard STILL isn't there yet so that leaves Green to have to step up

yeah getting paid 10 fkn million dollars to miss wide open shots and shoot 37%. it was a move that had to be done earlier. nobody misses jackson and he doesn't contain irreplaceable qualities

smh at the people who liked that post. Prolly just the average fan that sees the spurs play maybe 1-2 times a month and assumes jackson is still a serviceable player. He sucks...

Bro I'm a long time spurs fan, naw he's not that great of a regular season player, but dude hits some huge shot in the playoff, I bet if he was on the team we wouldn't have started overtime 0-7,

And if they were going to cut him for business reasons they coudlve waited, why cut him then bring in tmac if you weren't going to use him

And I I hate when dudes always bring up stats, fukk stats, he's the main reason we got a ring in 2003, just like robert horry in 2007, they both have no major stats they just come in do the dirty work (foul, cause pain to players) and hit crucial shots.... That's what captain jack is good for

You right bruh. Captain Jack is NO different from Ginobili as far as how they both play. Both will take head scratching shots at times, but BOTH will play hard and won't be intimidated. Difference is that S Jax don't flop and Manu does

I would of kept him through the playoffs and addressed it in the off season and like you said, why sign T-Mac if you aren't going to play him :mindblown:

As much as I love Pop, he's not about recieving criticism for some of the moves he's made over the past few months

Got my tickets to Game 6!

To watch spurs win it?!?!? Cool. We all know only reason we lost was the cold shooting and missed free throws. The final should've been 92-80 spurs no ot. It is what it is. I said spurs in 6 anyway.

let curry get his damn points and make everybody else beat us. stop leaving these fools wide open too shoot :snoop:

for god's sake REBOUND :snoop:

leonard u my boy but we need more offensive from u and make FT's.

i really think this matchup here right now is worse than either the grizz or okc matchup.

if we can get past gs we'll beat either the grizz or okc more easier imo keyword MY OPINION

gs is not to be fukked with from here on out

bruh I thought it was just me. we've all played basketball before and played against somebody who's absolutely lights out as a shooter and we tell ourselves "never and i mean NEVER leave him open not even to go play help D" but why is that the Spurs continuously leave Curry and Thompson open???

No 2nd chance points, and make FREEthrows. If those 2 get taken care of and still play like we did in Oakland, I like out chances tonight.

It made no sense. That's why I suspect he did something so bad behind closed doors, they felt it's no way he could be with the team after that. Like he stole off on someone or something. Who knows.

There needs to be movement in the offense too. There's too much standing around watching Tony dribble.

Also, Tim needs to stop catching the entry pass and hesitating so long before he decides what to do every time. He's looking like Ewing in his last years on the Knicks with that. It makes the offense stagnant. He's never catching it and making his move right away.

They need to put more pressure on the defense and get them moving sideways.

The bigs in general need to be more aggressive. That's why I would play Blair. He is aggressive if nothing else. I'd play Baynes too. Bonner needs to be DNP.
