honestly....to all the spur fans who are overlooking the fact that the spurs just got hot in the 4th quarter you are gonna be disappointed....they won't keep that shyt up.....that isn't their game, i can't see them sustaining this level of play throughout the series....

the spurs were outworked, outclassed, outshot, and completely overmatched the first 3 quarters. Danny green is a BALLER. He saved the game for the spurs. Pop is an excellent coach.....by him having a positive attitude about getting blown out, it made his team play that much harder. kudos to pop...best coach in the league bar none.

The spurs need to worry about how they are gonna adjust to curry, because they WONT stop him......even with leonard on him, curry blew past him easily. Spurs don't have the athletes denver has so i can see curry dropping 30 a game unless they double/trap.

Tony parker shot abysmally when klay was on him.......he started going off when klay fouled out....i don't expect klay to foul out again this series.

This game should have ended in a win for the warriors, but they are very young and inexperienced and have an inexperienced coach. They let up when they had the big lead.....sometimes you gotta keep your foot on the gas, but they'll learn.

Game 2 will be the most important game of the series.

If the spurs win, i can see this going 7.

If the warriors win, i can see this going 5 or 6 games.

the reason why i have the warriors winning is simple........

they are playing warriors basketball and making the spurs have to play it too.

Good win for the spurs.....Jarrett Jack's inability to rotate efficiently defensively cost the warriors them in 2 crucial moments.......he was horrible at doing that at GA Tech in paul hewitts scheme and he's horrible at it in the league.

Putting Kawhi on Curry makes it harder for him to get his shot off. He can still drive and dish, but preventing him from going nuts from beyond the arc will be a help.

lol@the Curry feasting because the Spurs don't have the athletes Denver has. It's not about athletes, it's about disciplined team defense on the perimeter, which SA >>>> Denver because Denver plays up tempo the whole time and doesn't get back on defense in transition. The Spurs play great transition defense and 3 point defense.

I don't know why you're saying the Warriors are making the Spurs play Warrior basketball. It's been one game. You think adjustments aren't going to be made?

Last night, Parker and Ginobili shot horribly, Duncan had the flu, and Splitter didn't play. I think they might be a bit broken after that heart-breaking loss. The Suns were after their double OT in game 1 against the Spurs in 2008. Golden State is a young, inexperience team. We'll see how they respond.

Oh and another thing @VictorVonDoom @Public Enemies

We gotta give props to Danny Green. He kept us in the game to start and at the end. Mental midget the past few years in the playoffs but he's turning that around :blessed:

Never thought I'd say this, but you can't forget about Matt Bonner either. He's been hitting his open 3s this postseason, and made a couple last night with the pressure on. :gladbron:

what surprised me the most is that how comfortable Warriors were in the paint. I know splitter didnt play and duncan was out a lot, but Id still consider it a good sign for us.

Yeah, I was also surprised that they outrebounded Denver. Splitter being back should help if his ankle is healthy. Diaw isn't much of a rebounder. I'd even put in the Dwight-stopper Arron Baynes some because of his size and physicality.

Yup. Bonner and Green have historically disappeared in clutch playoff moments. It would be a huge boost if they ended that trend this year.

Danny Green froze up in the WCFs last year. It was his first time in that position so maybe the moment was too big for him. He's been clutch so far this year in the regular season and the offs.

Bonner I have less faith in because he's let us down so many times.

First off the nuggets have only made it past the first round once in the past 10im years....the muggets are not the spurs. Secondly the fact that the warriors blew that big lead is why they wont advance. Thats a big no no in the playoffs...plus warriors cant win in sa-town. Spurs in 5
