That post keyed in on the most important aspect of the game that most young black women have completely backwards.
White women go into the game understanding the man is the prize and her goal is to win him. Black women go into it thinking they are the prize and the man has to win them.
The white girls know that soon as they set foot on campus, they got the upper hand because of the environment. The black women come in the game late in the third quarter trying to get a player at the club. Whatever she then wants the player to pay for, he already used to getting for free from the white girl, so off the rip you looking like a bad investment.
Not to mention that on a big time college campus white gurls got home field advantage and the numbers. For every fine black girl it’s 6 fine white girls.

So one day we’re at a meeting and it turned out she was cool with some of the women I was cool with. They were all mixed—no biggie. But she was the only one randomly bringing up being mixed, etc.
So we’re standing outside, about to leave, and it started to rain. We were all complaining, but I wasn’t tripping and none of us were moving. So she turned to me and said “omg you’re going to let your hair get wet?” And I was like “uh, yea. Whatever”. And then she said “ooh ok. Oh wait, is that your hair?”
And I’m looking at her like “bytch what?” But I ignore her and continue the convo. She keeps staring at me, and my hair starts to curl a little. Bytch reaches over and puts her talons in my damn scalp and said “oh, that is your hair”.
She was talking about being mixed and hair texture earlier, thinking I’d say something, but when we were in the rain my hair crinkled into a loose curl and she sat there looking stupid.
Now don’t get me wrong— I have multiple textures, including 4c, but some of my hair is looser, and her ass was feeling dumb trying to get a rise out of me when my hair was reacting to the rain the same way as everyone else’s.
Or when white girls would swing their hair around assuming that all the Black girls had short hair, etc. Then when a Black girl who had long, natural hair walked in the room all that shyt would stop because she could swing her hair around like the white and Hispanic girls.
They do stupid shyt like that or worse that you can’t call out without sounding petty, but it’s clear they’re trying to get under your skin. You have to expect that mess from jump.
That’s why white ppl get so uncomfortable when they encounter Black ppl who don’t fit the stereotypes they see in media.
They expect a certain “attitude”, and when they don’t see it, if you’re attractive, you are an automatic threat.
