From a basketball standpoint, there isn't a better team setup than the Cavs for him provided they draft Embiid. Anyone asking why he would go back isn't seeing the big picture, that young roster would extend his championship window right around the time he starts tapering off they would begin to develop and hit their strides. He wouldn't be accused of building a superteam if he went back to a team that has been awful without him, even though realistically they aren't that far from competing.

And he can play the hero angle as well. The Heat have the best chance of retaining him if Wade opts out, but anyone discounting the Cavs shot at landing him is buggin.
