last time you purchased a car and went to the BMV/DMV how much did you have to play for your plates. I went today and they tried to hit me in the head for $1,100.

In my state the dealership adds it to the total cost of the car and then you pay a much smaller fee to the tag office to get your plates.

yeah I just got hit in the head...What I should of done is when I was getting the vehicle negotiated to put that into the financing charge....When I was in Texas they always put it in there so much so I just thought that was normal....I ended up just paying for the tags and next year it will be cheaper.
