It’s the Kickoff of the 2016 NFL Season and we have enticing rematch of Super Bowl 50. This past February the Denver Broncos shocked the world by upsetting the Carolina Panthers with a defensive onslaught that resulted in a 24 to 10 victory. The Panthers know this upcoming game won’t redeem them for last season’s finale loss; however it would be imperative for them to start the season out with a dub against the squad that washed them in The Bowl.

Make no mistake, regardless of what Cam Newton says; this thing isn’t just a mere Thursday night football game. Nothing would start the Panther’s season off better than getting some form of retribution for the curb stomping they suffered this in Super Bowl 50. But Von Miller is still lining on the opposite side and has proven to be the Kryptonite to Cam's Superman.

However, both squads’ roster looks different since their last meeting. Carolina has a completely new secondary with plenty of youth and inexperience. The Panthers also get to welcome the return of Kelvin Benjamin to their explosive passing game. Meanwhile, In Denver the Sheriff Peyton Manning has retired and first time starter Trevor Siemian will be running the offense. Also several key defensive pieces have left and CB Aqib Talib also shot himself in the leg over the summer. :beli:

The Real Titletown
We'll see if Thomas can actually catch, or if he leaves his hands at home. The real showdown will be on Sunday night with two legitimate contenders.

A fair break down in the original post.

:ehh:

Well done.

:russ:@ mentioning Talib got shot in the very last sentence.

He's going to be stout against Kelvin, no doubt. It's just the type of match up he prefers.

It'll be a good game. If Trevor can let his playmakers make plays... Our O should be straight. Give DT some jump balls and have sanders double move your young corners all night.

Running the ball will be tough. But we have to keep the game close and honest into the 4th so we should definitely be patient (which I have no doubt Kubiak will be).

Our D will cause 3 turnovers.

If we keep it to no more than 2 turnovers on O... We win.
