Watched this last night and it was….a lot :francis:

Musically this dude was talented, it was undeniable and he gained a HUGE cult like fan base in such little time. He was well on his way and had co-signs from Kendrick, Cole, ASAP, Kanye, and even had Drake jacking his flow. Dude was on his way on becoming one of THE biggest artists of our generation.

But on the flip side dude was mentally unstable.

Being diagnosed with bipolar, his mom not giving him the proper medication because she “didn’t believe in it :wtf:” seeing his dad abuse her, staying at a porn star’s house at the age of 16, and just a whole lot of fukk shyt through out his short life that it was a recipe for disaster.

They actually talk to his ex gf that he abused which was shocking. And I do remember reading the report on the details on what he did to that poor girl.

The fact that mugshot of him going to jail for the abuse ended up being his most “iconic” picture was nasty to me. Ended up being on his platinum plaques too :hhh:

Even up to his death, he still didn’t admit that he beat that girl. Even with all the “changes” he was making in his life. He still didn’t admit it…which too me feels he didn’t change at all.

Watching his friends and family make excuses for him and make HIM out to be the victim was :mindblown: to see.

Dude was a mentally unstable narcissist. Even watching him on screen he had a very :demonic: aura around him.

Didn’t mean to go on such a long rant. But the doc is well done and it’s been on my mind since watching it...highly advise to watch it.

I remember asking my boy if xxx was still alive u think Kendrick uses him in the Kodak spot for the album? I know Kendrick fukked with x music heavy and was gonna pull his music off Spotify if they took x off .. shyt just a random thought tho
He would have fosho worked with Kendrick, Cole, and most def Kanye. XXX would have dead ass been ALL over “DONDA” if he was still alive.

He probably would have been bigger then Travis IMO

Incredible talent but this young man had a date with self inflicted entropy no matter what.

I watched it last night. It was pretty entertaining because I didn't know a lot of his backstory. This is just my unbiased opinion of the documentary:

Overall It tried to show him in essence raw & uncut. Seemed like dude had a good life, moms busted her ass to give him EVERYTHING he wanted and needed but I guess she didn't hug him enough, he started doing typical teenager shyt but had anger issues because his pops wasn't around.

Once he started to get bigger, his entire crew was enablers, only his mom way after the fact went on record and told him he was out of pocket after him going on IG live and telling little girls to suck his dikk or something to that effect.

To me the documentary didn't show him in a positive light. He came across many times as a 5'4 115lb, narcissistic sociopathic bully.

In one point in the documentary he's calling the girl he beat up from jail trying to cop pleas but then later calling her a bytch on camera saying he hates her and she "got jumped" when that fool would barley let her go to the kitchen when she was with him.

Even his baby mom said in the documentary she use to walk on egg shells around him because he would explode at times which probably means he was beating her ass too. He tried to attribute his violence towards women on the fact he use to see his mom get beat up. Just seems to me he never really took accountability for his actions. It was always someone else's fault.

People saying he would've been where guys like Travis is now, possibly if he didn't have the charges, the state had two trials on him, strong cases and he was facing a lot of time, had he not gotten killed, he would probably be in prison.

Lastly, not a big conspiracy theorist. But his mom in the doc says she asked someone to go with him to the bike shop the day he died. And the dudes just randomly pull up to rob him, and the passenger just gets out and runs away leaving XXX there, almost seemed they knew he would be at the spot because someone gave them the drop.

Overall it was a good watch.

ATL paid.. Cali blazed
After watching this doc I came to the conclusion if he hadn't got killed be would be in prison for killing someone else..I never got sick to my stomach from hearing a story until I heard how be beat tha shyt outta his girl and tried to drown her and the pics made it harder to watch..I like how the interviewer checked the mom and aunt about how people always bring the beating up because he never admitted it he really tried to tell people she got jumped...to die right before he had to turn himself in says alot...he was about to do some time and being in his mental state he probably woulda murked himself in prison

He was doomed whether he got shot there or not. But there’s no doubt if he lived and avoided prison longer him and Juice World would be the next Drake/Cole/Kendrick. They’d be running shyt no question, if they had lived.

Crazy doc. Sad. Just when someone figures it out and their life gets taken.
