In all organized religions and beliefs, the story of creation is brief. It was made by a celestial being from the bones of a being, the tears of a loved one, the body of an enemy, etc. But they're all short. The focus quickly turns to Earth matters. This guy said this, he did that, she gave birth to someone, etc.
The arrogance of mankind, to think that an entire universe was created, for them, by a being that magically looks just like them, is absurd. Supreme hubris. Does a dog or cat gaze upon the globe and think to itself, "All of this, everything I see and touch and hear, was made for me and my species".
No it does not. If dogs were capable of relaying that thought to us we would laugh and think, "how cute".
So why does that not apply to us? Why would a perfect higher being create trillions of inhabitable/empty/unreachable galaxies and planets and stars? So we can admire them in the night sky?
How can we claim this universe was created with us in mind when there are so many many lethal environments, so many diseases, dangerous animals?
Was a bigazz polar bear designed for our benefit? Were leukemia, HIV, schizophrenia and other terrible ailments made to improve our lives by a higher being? Is the fact that 70% of the planet's surface is made of water that we cannot drink supposed to be comforting and helpful?
There are so many flaws in the creation theory it's despicably laughable.
Easily the best thing I’ve read on here
