In all organized religions and beliefs, the story of creation is brief. It was made by a celestial being from the bones of a being, the tears of a loved one, the body of an enemy, etc. But they're all short. The focus quickly turns to Earth matters. This guy said this, he did that, she gave birth to someone, etc.

The arrogance of mankind, to think that an entire universe was created, for them, by a being that magically looks just like them, is absurd. Supreme hubris. Does a dog or cat gaze upon the globe and think to itself, "All of this, everything I see and touch and hear, was made for me and my species".
No it does not. If dogs were capable of relaying that thought to us we would laugh and think, "how cute".

So why does that not apply to us? Why would a perfect higher being create trillions of inhabitable/empty/unreachable galaxies and planets and stars? So we can admire them in the night sky?

How can we claim this universe was created with us in mind when there are so many many lethal environments, so many diseases, dangerous animals?
Was a bigazz polar bear designed for our benefit? Were leukemia, HIV, schizophrenia and other terrible ailments made to improve our lives by a higher being? Is the fact that 70% of the planet's surface is made of water that we cannot drink supposed to be comforting and helpful?

There are so many flaws in the creation theory it's despicably laughable.

Easily the best thing I’ve read on here :wow:

Materialists are a funny bunch :mjlol:

If all that exists in nature is physical matter, then that means that human life has no intrinsic value, which makes all this talk about "human rights" a complete fraud. Why is a human more valuable than a plant or a chair? At a very basic level, they've made of the exact same components:francis:

There are so many inconsistencies in their beliefs. :russ:

The concept of the sacredness of human life is a religious concept which is rooted in belief in the Divine Reality.

Most atheists are dishonest with themselves and are not comfortable with the ultimate implications of their belief system.

Same thing when it comes to morality. You cannot be an atheist and believe that objective morality exists. Atheist philosophers who are honest with themselves, like professor Peter Slezak, will say flat out that there is no objective morality and that morality is based on utilitarianism.

So stealing is not immoral in and of itself. It's immoral because we have all agreed that it's immoral to steal because it has a negative impacts on the collective.. Obviously this raises some serious questions.

Pretty much Human laws are all bullshyt. We placed, no, they placed value or importance on insignificant things.

Like why do people think going to college ot having a high school diploma is a indicator of having a high IQ? It's all trivial bs. Look at who's the president now lol

when you see something like this it really puts in perspective how insignificant we are in comparison we are to the whole universe. and how much knowledge ancient africans had to line up all those pyramids exactly to those stars and planets.

The way it all zoomed out made it feel like our galaxy is just a micro micro micro organism to a larger creature.

What if our "universe" is just one cell in a much larger being? :merchant:

The way that shyt zoomed out still has me shook :krs:
towards the end of the video..look at the structure of Cosmic wateva and milky way then compare that to images of bone structure under the microscope.

Then the last image on the video compare it to images of a gram stain microscope slide

That's why I made the statement. It seems like whenever you zoom out incredibly far, it gives the same visual effect as when you zoom in really far. shyt is spooky :merchant:
