Listen to the whole interview. He's said it before, he like the fact that Vlad has guys like Jamar and Tariq Nasheed on his show, guys that alot of Black media shies away from. Probably the only good thing about Vlad IMO.

meanwhile, rick rubin gets the credit as the 1st super-producer, the endless accolades, opportunities, etc.

LOL. To be honest I dont consider neither of them to be the first "super producer" in Hip Hop.....I say that title goes to Marly Marl. And I say that cuz Rick and Larry were in the background.....Marly had his own album which had hit songs on it. Marly was known by face. Marly was known by his voice. Seeing Marly in that Roxannes Revenge was a big thing....Think about this....The leader of the classic song The Symphony was Marly Marl and MC Shan will co sign that. Rick nor Larry have songs were they are bigger then the rapper on it... The same way i dont consider Kurtis Blow to be the first succesful solo because he was also claiming dj.....so that title goes to LL.....i say the first super producer was Marly.
