They also fired Hollins and Joerger when they were doing a good job too and were not a problem either. This doesn’t shock me.

They fired hollins after a 56 win season and their only WCF appearance because they didn't think he deserved a new contract. That pretty much says everything you need to know about the Grizzlies front office

Retarded move, coaching wasn't the problem, it's the roster and the complete lack of awareness of it being time to move on from Conley & Gasol.

Fizz did as good of a job with that team as you can expect, they lack talent and their two primary players are aging. They should be the poster child for holding on too long and not knowing when to rebuild.

rebuild to do what exactly? they not gonna get in any free agents or trades.

Grizzlies are a middle of the pack, make the playoffs, win a couple games and exit type team.

They sell out that arena, and are a decent.. im sure the owner is content with that.

You know what's hilarious about this whole situation? Alvin Gentry has actually benched Cousins multiple times late in games this season when he was getting cooked on defense and not closing out on wide open 3 pt shooters. Not only did Boogie have zero complaints, but benching him in those situations actually got us a couple of wins too.

Kind of funny how he's painted as the NBA's most loud and notorious malcontent when Marc's out here getting his coach fired for benching him while all he's doing is moping and pouting on the court and getting outhustled by bench players and outrebounded by guards. I wonder why that is... :mjpls:
Not only that, but for YEARS we've seen situations where the bench manages to get a team back in the game after getting blown out for 3 quarters and the coaches choosing to ride that lineup out as long as possible. You think James Harden was bytching when Josh Smith and co. saved his season? Definitely seemed like a chess move to get Fizdale out.

he's a phil disciple...instead of not calling timeouts...he'll just leave the same nikkas out there after timeouts :dead:
he believes he can just leave the same lineup out there like phil....like phil aint have hall of famers on the court to stabilize shyt themselves

he also thinks he's Steve Kerr :mjlol:

He's just a cac version of Larry Drew

That being said its reported the two of them hadnt gotten along in a minute so the front office had to pick one...
