Well i dont think it was really romantic or at least it wasn't clear.

They were extremely close though... Like kissing cousins or something or so I thought

Those top panels are from ultimate universe cloak and dagger. They different people and never had a official comic. They were mainly like black spider man's side kicks back in the day.

That bottom one though. That Breh with the dreads. He the real deal. Don't let all the intimacy fool you though he friend zoned like that's his super power.
