Blaming Lula & Dilma is laughable. Lulas policies helped an entire generation of disenfranchised afro-brasilians gain access to education and resources to help them come out of decades of poverty and into becoming middle class.

The white Brasilians elites did not like that at all. Difference here is US is a developed country with a solid democratic foundation. Brasil is a developing country with a shaky at best democracy

Lula did good things for many people. I never denied that. He was also corrupt. He and his party should have stepped aside. Their stubbornness assuredly helped usher in Bolsonaro by destroying the credibility of his party.
