He may be a good actor but he may not be a leading man. His movies all flop from the good ones to the bad ones. Dude played Steve Jobs and couldn't deliver a decent return.

Fassbender is indeed a great actor, but the more involved he is in a production, the more obvious it becomes that being good at acting doesn't mean you understand what makes a good movie. Fassbender got the clout to make the films he wanted to make and the results weren't pretty.
