You're acting like Huff is trying to create another spygate though. It's more that the Eagles really only have 4 running plays and don't have the talent to execute them like chip wants despite the defense knowing that it coming. It's not an excuse rather an indictment against against our gameplan
:sas1: What excuses will the Eagirls come up with now. :mjlol:

Cowboys DE Jeremy Mincey responds to Eagles WR saying coaches called out play-calls: 'It might have felt like that'

Cowboys DE Jeremy Mincey responds to Eagles WR saying coaches called out play-calls: 'It might have felt like that'

IRVING - Eagles receiver Josh Huff told reporters in Philadelphia on Monday that when he lined up on outside near the Cowboys' sideline Sunday he could hear Dallas coaches calling out Eagles' offensive play-calls pre-snap.

Cowboys defensive linemen were often in the backfield when Eagles running back DeMarco Murray was handed the ball. The Cowboys limited Murray to two rushing yards on 13 carries. The Cowboys had seven tackles for loss in the game.

Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey said Huff is wrong and that coaches weren't calling out the Eagles' play-calls.

"Oh, no. that's all myth. It's all discipline. This game is about discipline. That's all it was," Mincey said. "Nobody called out nothing. We called out what we were supposed to play and we played what we were supposed to play and we were in our position like we were supposed to be in. Kudos to Coach [Rod] Marinelli for scheming up a great game plan and for my teammates executing it. They did a great job.

"We didn't [say], 'Oh, this is coming,' nobody did that. Everybody stayed fundamentally sound. It might have felt like that to him. Truth be told, that's a lie. We're just focused on being discipline and doing what we do best and that's just being discipline, fundamentally sound and physical."

Mincey, asked if it was Huff probably just being sour about the way the Cowboys dominated the Eagles, said, "That's probably what it is. When you lose everybody finds a reason."

bruh who is saying its a excuse? its more of a strike against Chip because he has been called out for his offense being predictable before. :camby:

Supposedly there's basically 4 run plays they have, and you can tell what it is by how the offense lines up. One of the writers from Grantland tweeted it on sunday

Edit: found it

Would explain what was really happening in the article I posted. There was literally a play where the d line knew to bump Kelce so he couldn't get to Sean Lee in time to block him as he blew Demarco up...

So apparently Peters , Kelce and Celek graded out as our worst blockers so far.

We can't even blame Gardner and Barbre anymore, because they've been the best lineman on the team. :mjcry:

I'm starting to get scared that this start has been such an aberration that it's not an aberration, if that makes sense to anyone but me.

I'm kind of mentally defeated , its probly not going to get any better this week considering how much better this defense were playing is than what we've already faced.

I think you got that from Pro Football Talk...mah man....I cant take them seriously at all....they have Gardner and Barbie ranked with in the top 40 Offensive lineman- from what I saw they should be PS fodder. Chip effed up by not addressing the OL- you cant just plug in any fat fukk and say go

Yeah I did get it from them, and they're definitely not perfect, but the fact that Barbre and Gardner are rated higher should be concerning. It's not like they were rated well either, its more about how bad Peters , Kelce and Celek were.

This week is probably the beginning of the end

It's finesse vs physical NFL defense

In college you already know how this goes

Unless you got just raw talent on that offense .. The defense wins every time

I.E. Oregon got beat every time they played those top notch S.E.C defenses

After watching how the jets manhandled the Colts

I can't see us doing much

Dallas corners are gabbage and we couldn't move the ball

Sam Bradford probably better strap up that blitzing ain't no joke

Eagles fans will go crazy this is a must win no doubt about it

Chip's running the offense like Shady's still in the backfield. We traded him for a linebacker whose health is a liability remember? We let our offensive guards walk and now two scrubs playing and we're wondering why DeMarco Murray is looking like a scrub. At least Shady could make people miss behind our shytty line. We need to have a fullback in there and run Murray north/south. That will help Bradford out so we won't be back there throwing the ball damn near all the time. And getting the running game going will keep our defense from getting dog tired. It's like Dallas kept handing us the game and we kept giving it right back to them. If we don't get our shyt together against the Jets this Sunday, the season is a wash.

really good article on the predictability of the offense with some short video clips. sheds some light on everything. they are definitely going to have to mix it up on sunday, as it is now its too easy for the defense if they've been awake in film study
