Just rewatched overtime from last night, and Murray won back some of the belief I lost in him. He was running hard as shyt and got us out of some huge jams in ot.

This Hicks shyt though :mjcry:

Atleast a pec isn't something like a knee where you wonder if he'll ever be the same or be able to stay healthy. We can take some comfort in that i guess.

We've got 8 games to go and 7 of them are very winnable. Of course New England is the hardest game on the schedule for the rest of the seaosn. The next 3 are very winnable. We got Miami and Tampa Bay at home. Then we got Detriot on the road on Thanksgiving where the Eagles are 6-0 All-Time on Thanksgiving Day. So going into Patriots game we should be 7-4. The final four games are Buffalo who are very inconsistant. Arizona should be interesting and then we finish the year with Skins at home than Gmen in New york. I think we have a more favorable schedule down the stretch. If we continue to run a balanced run/pass and our Defense continues with all these turnovers we could be very dangerous. But again, Sam has to limit his mistakes (Turnovers) and we have to keep the running game strong. The bottom line we are in position to take the division just as we were last year.

Matthews may be the next GOAT after all byrd gang, volunteered to be on the scout team last week, that work ethic is only matched by Jerry Rice :wow: bradford and kelly said they never seen another player do that

There were only so many opportunities for him to work on it during the offense’s portion of practice. So Matthews volunteered to run routes with the scout team. That meant running the Dallas Cowboys' offense against the Eagles’ starting defense.

During last Thursday’s practice, Matthews dropped a pass during a red-zone drill. He was frustrated by that, making the same mistake he was working so hard to correct.

There were only so many opportunities for him to work on it during the offense’s portion of practice. So Matthews volunteered to run routes with the scout team. :wow: That meant running the Dallas Cowboys' offense against the Eagles’ starting defense.

"I had a mishap," Matthews said. "There’s only one way to put it behind you -- to go work. I think the hardest time when you’re going through something is when you’re sitting down at home. You can’t really fix it.

"But I’m on the practice field. I have 10 periods to put better stuff on tape so I can put that last thing behind me. So I took some scout team reps. Go againstByron Maxwell. Go be Dez Bryant for him. Or go inside and help out Malcolm (Jenkins) and do some inside reps. It’s something, going back to Week 1, that I like to jump in and do a little scout team."

Quarterback Sam Bradford said he had never seen a teammate work any harder than Matthews did last week. :ohhh: On Sunday, that translated into nine receptions for 133 yards, including the game-winning 41-yard touchdown in overtime.

"The one thing is if you're in a slump, it takes someone with a great work ethic to get out of the slump, and that's what Jordan has," head coach Chip Kelly said. "He worked extremely hard, did a lot of work actually after our reps on offense were done, mimicking Dez Bryant for our defense and did a really good job at that, too."

Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur thought of a wide receiver he had with theCleveland Browns. Shurmur didn’t name him, but said the player was physically gifted without having to work that hard at it. When that player went into a slump, it was tough to get out of it.

:whoa: Just because he won us a game outright, let's not just use the nebulizer on the ones he lost. Like the kid's work ethic though. You don't see that too much any more, especially from a high draft pick, who would ride athleticism until they crash.
