Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio
Jeremy Sochan played 8 minutes tonight.
He's been playing about 20 minutes so far this season.

He was a 25-30 minute per night player before this season. If the minutes are any indication, the Spurs likely don't view him as a core part of the future.
They could keep him, but at what price?

You could make the argument for guys like Vassell or Keldon because they're capable scorers.
I'm not sure you're going to pay a lot for a 2nd unit defender.
I was asking the chat yesterday. Deni going off for close to 40 points. Isn't that where Sochan is supposed to show his value to the team? Lock down the biggest scoring threat? But he looked scared with the ball in his hands on offense. Shot with no confidence.

Fox broke out of his mini-slump though (he nearly airballed a couple floaters).

Wemby's injury might be a blessing in disguise. It's helped Fox (and the fans) remember who the hell he is.

4th in the west and only had our whole roster for 1 or 2 games.

I'd be calling Dallas and seeing what's the price on AD :hubie:

Sochan, Kelly, Carter Bryant, and they pick back, I'd pull the trigga :hubie:

Got a feeling AD would magically get healthy playing next to Victor:hubie:

I think Carter Bryant could be a good Derrick Jones Jr type but this team might be ready right now I'm down for a 3 year run with AD Fox and Wemby:hubie:

Currently the Spurs are 10th in Offensive Rating and 5th in Defensive Rating.
They have only played 18 games so far, and it's hard to know exactly who this team really is because of injuries, but those rankings are impressive.

They started the season with Fox and Sochan being hurt.
Then Harper got hurt.
Now Wemby is hurt.

I don't think anyone knows what the rotation will settle into once everyone is healthy but you imagine the potential is high.

Hopefully guys like Olynyk and Barnes hold up well given their age. San Antonio probably still needs depth on the bench or good development from Carter Bryant and David Jones Garcia
