She did the right thing, especially if she invested 18 years in her son and I'm not just talking financially. Some if you non-football playing bums don't know what it's like to have a parent put everything they have into your athletic career from peewee to varsity.

I was always told "moms always know best". His mom wanted him to go to Bama or Tennessee. He had to go left and choose washed up Florida. He let his mom down on national TV.

Family members thinking they're entitled to a tangible return on investment because they raised them. Having your child be successful and being able to live independently and make independent decisions isn't good enough.
