She wanted him to leave Florida period, because she didn't want him in the PHYSICAL location of people who have already tried to wreck his future. She was hoping a new area would bring a new psyche, a new sense of belonging, and a better support structure that would keep him on the straight and narrow.

It's why a lot of people CHOOSE to relocate out of state for college.

I just heard she was mad because she wanted Jacob to get a fresh start at Alabama or Tennessee. Jacob has a history of gang affiliation in Florida.

It’s being debated whether that’s real, but I still owe the mother an apology. At the end of the day, that’s the woman who brought him to the world and loves him unconditionally. The way she was being attacked everywhere, I would kill someone over it or risk it all if anyone disrespected my mother. She came back and embraced him in less than 3 minutes walking away. It was a selfish moment, but she corrected it immediately.
