Movies this summer have sucked something real awful :scust:

i've watched Xmen, Tarzan, Purge, Independence Day and all have sucked bad. Nothing shines at all, and the rest of the summer isn't looking too good either.

is this one of the worst years for summer blockbusters?

We need some Transformers type of movie or something, something mindless and fun. even a good old shoot em up would do...but nothing. every movie is trying to take itself way too seriously.

2009 gets a bad rap because the blockbusters were bad

• Angels and Demons
• X-Men Origins: Wolverine

but it also gave us

• District 9
• Star Trek
• Inglourious Basterds
• Moon
• UP
• (500) Days of Summer
• The Hurt Locker

This summer has been wack all around IMO.

Batman Begins, 40 year old virgin, wedding crashes . Revenge of the sith aged poorly since there was so much green screen. Shooting on set helps so much. That last fight was fire though (don't ask me how)

I'm more or less a regular at the theaters but I have not seen a single movie in the theaters since probably like February. Wasn't even enticed by Civil War enough to spend money plus HD rips were out after like a fukking week lol

It has been a disappointment for movies so far this year.

I'm going to see Keanu (I'm not expecting a masterpiece, its just for the fukkery) and that Kevin Hart movie with the Rock.

I'm more looking forward to Power, The Get Down and Narcos than any big screen flick at this point.
