I finally figured out the formula... they will only push the most high brow shyt and the most low brow shyt....
hipsters are very strategic listeners. They like something if it's "intellectual", high cultured... so they can brag about to their friends... or if its dumbed down, mainstream bullshyt... something they can enjoy ironically
But they avoid that middle ground... where real hip hop thrives...
So, while I love that high concept artists like Flylo da gawd, and Yeezus, are getting coverage in the magazines... it'd be nice if dudes like Harry Fraud, Freddie Gibbs and Black Milk could get some shine
