Did you read the op? I'm still in my 20's and I did use to weight train. I'm nowhere near fat. I just want to get slim swole instead of the lumber jack body I'm rocking now. Stop being goofy.

im a girl, but HIIT is just too dread inducing, i just do moderately long sessions of low intensity intervals, walking on the treadmill, varying the speed and at a 7% to 10% incline

also myfitnesspal and a digital food scale are very helpful

I can handle it. I'm most def gonna check out those apps tho. I'll be looking like Nadal in no time.

I'm gonna stay away from weights, I get a little too swole when I weight train. I'm trying to get that tennis body.

Clean up your diet (fruits, veg, water and no fast food). Join a boxing, Muay Thai or mma gym. It is a high intensity workout and you will shed fat while doing it

I use to box when I was younger, so if I went that route I'd want to pick up mma to add to the skills I already have. But I took a Krav Maga class and it turned out to be a McDojo, I don't wanna get played again.

If you're still in the east bay, check out Core Power yoga in Berkeley. The one on sixth and university. My wife and two of my good friends swear by Core over any other studios they've ever been to. First week is free and you can find deals on Groupon to get months for $75 instead of $160. You'll want to start off with the C1 classes. They have a higher impact course called Sculpt too.

Lots of college girls from the UC there also :takedat:

I just asked my wife and she said they're nationwide. You might be able to find one where you're at. It sounds like they've got a good formula.

I'm in SLC right now but I have a job offer in Phoenix so I'll be moving there in a couple of months. I'll most def hit CPY when move.

And once again, I'm trying to be slim swole, but when I work out I get swole swole. So I asked for advice on getting the look I wanted and being less stiff.

I'll be 30 in a year and a half and I've already started to make noises when I stand up.

Just today I had to get over a 3ft concrete divider and it took way more effort than it should have.:francis:


I use to weight train before I became a trucker but never did any cardio or streching and its catching up to me in a real way. I'm outchea looking like a lumber jack. I saw an old friend of mine the other day and she told me I'm built like Stringer Bell in Daddy's girls.:francis: On top of that I have a baby face so I'm mismatched like a motherfukker.

When I get off the road I'm going to start doing yoga(can't wait to meet my classmates:takedat:) and I'm starting heavy cardio and only doing push ups, pull ups, and anything else dealing with body weight only. I need that slim swole look to match the face I have.

Any advice on what I should be eating or is there anything else I can do besides yoga to stay loose and stop moving like an old man?
Depends on what you want to do :ld:

DO you want to loose weight? Gain muscle mass? Be cut? Do you have a big gut?

Im 31 and still has a six pack. I mostly do presses and that will work on your stomach as well.
