flav didn't embody the overall image of PE so it didn't matter imo.
All I'm saying is that PE were political as fu*k but somehow the white man knew about Flava Flav cause he's weakness and they gave him a lot of money to doing the reality shows (Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielsen Strange Love and Flava of Love and I Love New York, etc) So, basically the PE legacy isn't the same so now a lot of people know more about Flava Flav more than PE. I bet you many people knows more NWA songs than PE songs. If you mention any PE songs and they wouldn't know what the f*ck you talk about til you mention PE's name so they gonna "Oh PE and Flava Flav".



I actually like PE more than NWA but let's not downplay NWA's production. nikkaz4Life is one of, if not the best produced albums in hip hop. the mixing, quality, layering, etc. were incredible and Dre really brought an element of perfectionism to the hip hop production game with that album.
