biggie and nas came to the rap game fully formed. pac came a rough diamond, hence his first 2 albums are spotty, but he was a quick learner. and for all nas lyrical accumen and biggies flair, i dont think they touching that 3 run album pac run. or outkast or kanye. pac is the peoples champ and his music feels that way to me. i just feel it, i dont gotta try to feel it, or feel sophisticated to get it. it just speak to you very directly, no floss, no fat, not wasted lyrical complexity.

Mobb Deep with Infamous, Hell On Earth, and Murda Muzik.

I haven't read the thread but wouldn't be surprised to see some of the best 3 album runs as Mobb Deep, Tupac, Redman, Outkast, M.O.P., Ice Cube, Gang Starr, Kanye, Tribe, and maybe even Little Brother.

Mobb Deep has the best 3 album run though, IMO.
